Our lobbying activities primarily concern regulation of the energy sector with a view to accelerating the deployment of renewable energy in a way that underpins urgent climate action, security of supply, competitiveness, and nature enhancement. Our main positions on these topics include support for climate policy agenda goals, namely limiting global heating to 1.5 ºC as per the Paris Agreement and supporting the expansion of renewables and the phase-out of fossil fuels.

Within Ørsted A/S, there is one member of our Board of Directors who currently holds a position in public administration. No other members of the administrative, management, or supervisory bodies currently hold a position in public administration or have done so for the past two years.

The Board of Directors has established three committees: The Audit & Risk Committee, the Nomination & Remuneration Committee, and the Asset Project Committee. The Audit & Risk Committee oversees the integrity of financial and sustainability reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and evaluates external auditors' independence. It also manages the company's whistleblower scheme. The Nomination & Remuneration Committee assists the Board in matters regarding composition, remuneration, and performance. The Asset Project Committee oversees planning, execution, and delivery of asset projects to meet strategic objectives. The Group Executive Team, appointed by the Board of Directors, manages day-to-day operations according to the Board's guidelines. They conduct annual risk assessments and have established internal control systems to mitigate risks in financial and sustainability reporting.

Andrew Brown has extensive international executive experience from leading positions in large global organizations. Annica Bresky has leadership experience from global companies within the forestry, paper, and packaging industry. Julia King has a strong international background in engineering and academia. Peter Korsholm has extensive M&A experience and financial reporting expertise. Dieter Wemmer is highly experienced in capital markets and risk management. Benny Gabel, Leticia Francisca Torres Mandiola, Ian McCalder, and Anne Cathrine Collet Yde have various roles within Ørsted, contributing to their expertise in business conduct matters.
