Question Id: S2-4_16
GN has implemented several initiatives aimed at delivering positive impacts for value chain workers. These include managing IROs on working conditions and equal treatment through 46 supplier audits across China and Southeast Asia in 2024. Major findings related to occupational health and safety, excessive overtime hours, overuse of dispatched workers, and inadequate parental leave have been resolved or are subject to mandatory corrective action. GN uses the FRDM platform to monitor suppliers who pose a high risk of forced or child labor violations. The EcoVadis supply chain data platform has been implemented to onboard suppliers and request data on social indicators, allowing GN to gain insights connected to policy commitments. These actions are assessed for effectiveness by tracking progress and ensuring compliance with policy objectives.
