GN is committed to ensuring that human rights are safeguarded and that they manage material sustainability matters related to value chain workers. GN's human rights policy commitments cover all value chain workers across all geographies in which they operate to enable identification, assessment, and management, or remediation of material IROs. GN has introduced a number of initiatives and due diligence processes to ensure engagement with value chain workers or their proxies to take measures in enabling remedy of negative impacts. GN's approach to human rights due diligence is informed by OECD guidance, focusing on engagement initiatives with suppliers based on material negative impacts relating to working conditions and equal treatment of value chain workers. Key actions include audits and site visits with tier 1 and 2 suppliers, and a focus on child labor and forced labor in the upstream value chain. GN tracks effectiveness by reviewing material findings from due diligence processes and engaging with affected stakeholders and suppliers to mitigate impacts.
