GN has implemented several policies for managing material impacts related to its own workforce. As a member of the UN Global Compact since 2010, GN is committed to safeguarding human rights and labor rights principles in its own workforce. Accordingly, GN operations and business activities are guided by the UN guiding principles on Business and Human Rights, ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. GN upholds human rights principles through the implementation of policies and procedures which prevent discrimination, harassment, advances diversity, and ensure fair and equal treatment of its workforce.

- Provide a detailed account of the measures your organization implements to uphold the human rights of all engaged stakeholders, including but not limited to their rights to privacy, freedom of expression, and peaceful assembly and protest. This should encompass any identified cases of severe human rights incidents such as forced labor, human trafficking, or child labor, as well as the processes for engaging with your workforce and their representatives on these impacts.

GN continues its commitment to doing things the right way, complying with relevant international regulations and by implementing policies and procedures to promote ethical business behavior and practices. In 2024, a total of 40 cases were reported through the GN Alertline. Out of the 40 cases reported, 26 cases were related to incidents of discrimination, including harassment. All the cases reported will be properly investigated, and appropriate actions, including disciplinary actions will be taken. For more information on the GN Alertline, see chapter G1 Business Conduct. There have been no fines, penalties and compensation for damages as a result of the incidents and complaints reported. GN has not identified any cases of severe human rights incidents connected to GN’s workforce.
