The base year for GN's GHG emission reduction targets is 2021. They have set targets to reduce absolute GHG emissions in Scope 1 and 2 by 80% and in Scope 3 by 25% by 2030 from this baseline. GN is committed to reaching net-zero GHG emissions by 2050 at the latest, meaning 90% reduction with neutralization of unabated emissions to reach net zero.
